Dr. Md. Mahmodol Hasan has actively been involved in teaching and research for 24 years. His research area mainly focuses on sustainable crop production while minimizing environmental impacts and preserving natural resources. He has successfully completed many research projects, achieving significant outcomes. He has been able to publish a number of research articles in the reputed journals of national and international level. By this time, he has grasped a range of research techniques and analytical methods. Currently, his research emphasizes improving nitrogen fertilizer management for yield and nitrogen use efficiency in wetland rice cultivation in the northern part of Bangladesh. For the past four years, he was actively involved in UKRI-GCRF funded South Asian Nitrogen Hub (SANH) project as a Co-Principal Investigator. Under the program, he conducted research on experimental testing of agronomic solutions, focusing on nitrogen use efficiency (NUE), profitability and yield. He has attended many national and international seminars, conferences and workshops.
