Burcu Yavuz Tiftikçigil

She was born in 1979 in Izmir.After graduating from Izmir Namik Kemal High School,she received his bachelor's degree from Dokuz Eylül University,Faculty of Business Administration,Department of Economics in English in 2002.In 2005,she graduated from Kocaeli University Institute of Social Sciences Economic Policy Master's Program.In 2005,she was accepted to Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences Economic Policy PhD Program and graduated in 2010.

She is a member of Türkiye Exporters Assembly Industrial Sustainability Scientific Committee,TTMD Global Warming and Climate Change Technical Committee and the Editorial Committee of the World Political Library.She works in the fields of Growth and Development Economics,Green Economic Transformation and Sustainable Development.She has managed and participated in many regional and international projects in the field of sustainable development.She established the Sustainable Development Application and Research Center at Istanbul Medipol University. The Women in Power Project,which she managed for the gender of sustainable development goals,received the Value Award.She was also awarded the Inspiring Leader Award in 2023 for her work on sustainable development.
