Eugenia Lucașenco

Eugenia Lucașenco, Dr., is the Head of Agri-food economics and rural development department of the National Institute for Economic Research, Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. She has over 15 years of experience in research of agri-food economics, particularly: food security; research on resilience and sustainability of the agricultural sector; value chain analysis; research on modernization of the agricultural sector; assessment of agricultural policies; assessment of competitiveness of the agricultural sector of the Republic of Moldova; analysis of the sustainability of small farms in the Republic of Moldova; development of model investment projects for the agricultural sector; analysis of foreign trade with agri-food products.

Ms. Lucașenco has been participating in 12 international projects – H2020, FP7, ERASMUS+, FAO, Visegrad Fund, IFAD, etc. and 6 national projects. She is an author of over 30 publications in the field of agri-food economics and rural development, and attended over 20 national and international conferences.
