Ashley Rukudzo Kavumbura

I am a BSc. Agricultural Economics and Development Honours degree holder and also the founder of Ash-Gric. Ash-Gric is an agriculture-based entity that focuses on promoting sustainable agriculture and resilient food systems, with the aim of improving the agri-food systems and food security status.
I have also been a researcher in the humanitarian and development field since 2019 working with different organisations, such as the FAO, Palladium, Food Justice Network, GRM, Statistics and Research Centre, International Medical Corps and SAT-WILD, focusing on issues to do with livelihoods, agriculture and food systems. Some of these experiences were periodical consultancy work and some were employment.

In this research work I was responsible for carrying out surveys, data collection and analysis, administering capacity building trainings in sustainable agricultural methods and local food value addition.
