Christos Gkotsis

Christos Gkotsis is a certified Executive Chef and Judge of WORLDCHEFS. He has studied Culinary Arts at the Organization of Tourism Education and Training in Greece. He has worked in 5-star hotels Greece. Since 2006 he is a Culinary Instructor of Culinary Arts. At the present time, he is teaching Culinary Arts in ALFA Educational Institution. He has represented Greece in many international competitions and participated as a Judge in culinary competitions around the world. From 2013 to 2024, he was a Committee member of World Chefs Without Borders and World chefs Military Culinary competition committee 2020-2024.

He is the Chairman of Culinary Professionals Greece and Organize Chairman for culinary competitions in Greece. He was Team Manager of the Greek Culinary Team that participated in the Culinary World Cup 2018 in Luxembourg, the Greek Culinary Team that won bronze medal in the IKA/Culinary Olympics 2020 in Stuttgart and bronze medal in the Culinary World Cup 2022. Furthermore, he was lecturer at the 4th World Shiology Forum that was held in Hainan, China, introducing the subject of the “Sustainable Behaviors in Foodservice”. In Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2024 he was awarded with the President Medal by WorldChefs PresidentThomas Gugler.
