Emeliane KILADZE

I hold a PhD in Agricultural Science with a specialization in blueberry cultivation and ericoid mycorrhizal fungi. My academic and professional focus lies in sustainable agricultural practices, plant–fungi symbioses, and the integration of innovative technologies - such as agrivoltaics (the use of solar panels in agriculture) - to improve food production systems. I have conducted international research in Germany (Juelich Research Center), the United States (Oregon State University), and Georgia. Additionally, I am the co-founder of a commercial blueberry farm, LLC ‘Blue Bash’, located in Samtredia, in the western region of Georgia.

My work bridges scientific research, practical field application, and policy-oriented development, aligning with global efforts to transform food systems toward sustainability. I am also actively engaged in international networks and fellowship programs dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture and knowledge exchange.
