Jorge Antonio ROJAS BELTRAN

Bolivian citizen, Agricultural Engineer. Master's Degree in Biotechnology and Doctorate in Agronomic Sciences and Biological Engineering; Postgraduate degrees obtained at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Liège-Gembloux University (Belgium). Two Post-Doctorates in Europe, in areas related to the Biotechnology, Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering. Researcher of the "Department of Biochemistry and Applied Biology" of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Liège-Gembloux (Belgium) University. Professor at several universities (Liège-Gembloux, UMSS, EMI, USIP, UPAL) and numerous postgraduate programs. Thesis advisor of several undergraduate, master's and doctoral students. He has numerous scientific publications in indexed journals and participation in international congress. Member ofseveral scientific journals review committee as the American Journal of Botany, FRONTIERS, BASE, Helion, Científica Ecuatoriana, etc. He received numerous awards for his scientific and academic works. Currently, Director of the "Center for Biotechnology and Nanotechnology" (CByN) of the Mayor de San Simón University (UMSS), and responsible for the QUINUA-PROGRAM of the UMSS.
