Dr. Elawad is a survey research expert with extensive experience in public opinion studies, sustainable food systems, and agricultural development. He currently serves as the Survey Operations Manager at the Social and Economic Survey Research Institute (SESRI) at Qatar University

Dr. Elawad has led numerous large-scale surveys in Qatar and the Gulf region, focusing on public opinion, census methodologies, and survey quality. His work includes:
• Implementing the Agriculture Census in Qatar (2021), providing critical data for food security planning.
• Developing classification systems for traditional animal holdings to enhance livestock productivity and sustainability.
• Investigating factors influencing survey participation rates in Qatar, contributing to improved data collection strategies.
