Hossein Azadi

I, Prof. Dr. Hossein Azadi, obtained my first PhD in agricultural economics and the second in human geography. I am currently a professor at University of Liège in Belgium. I have published about 500 journal articles with +12000 citations and h-index of 57 underscoring me as top 3% global scientist ranked by AD Scientific index. My main focus is on land governance, agroecology and the impacts of climate change on small-scale farmers. I am also a member of the editorial boards in Land Use Policy, Land Degradation & Development, Agroecology and Sustainable Food Systems, and Climatic Change. Furthermore, I serve as a research project evaluator for several international councils and organizations such as BVLE/ABER PhD award, Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), Strategic Research Council- Academy of Finland (SRC) (Finland), Innovation Fund Denmark (IFD) (Denmark), National Center of Science and Technology Evaluation (NCSTE) (Republic of Kazakhstan), SWARD Program (UAE), Dutch Research Council (NWO) (The Netherlands), Economic and Social Research Council (United Kingdom), Czech Science Foundation (Czech Republic), and Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung (Germany).
