I am a Congolese researcher focusing on natural resource management, agricultural soil management, and forest regeneration. I have over six years of experience coordinating agroforestry and degraded land restoration projects.
I have a diploma in agricultural engineering and an M.Phil. in agricultural land management from the University of Kinshasa. I am currently taking a pre-doctoral course in precision agriculture at GBios in Benin. I have conducted several published scientific research projects, including studies on the impact of biochar on the fertility of sandy soils and cereal production, cocoa-based agroforestry systems, and soil fertility and erosion mapping in Muanda. Currently, I am interested in using drones to evaluate the effectiveness of urea in arid soils.
My work focuses on analyzing soils and how they are used, studying soil-vegetation interactions, and training farmers in climate-smart agriculture. I have led projects with the French Embassy and other NGOs, taught sustainable agroforestry practices to farmers, and collaborated with international networks such as GLOSOLAN, AFRILAB, and the International Biochar Initiative.
My commitment to sustainable agriculture is reflected through my active participation in capacitybuilding initiatives.
