Dear Mr. José de Jesús Rodríguez Romero

Jose de Jesús Rodriguez Romero, PhD, is the Technology Management Coordinator at the Consejo de Ciencia y Tecnologia del Estado de Nayarit (Council for Science and Technology of the State of Nayarit) in Mexico, he holds a degree in biochemical engineering with a specialization in food science and biotechnology, a PhD in Biotechnology Innovation from the Jalisco State Center for Research and Assistance in Technology and Design (CIATE), and a Master of Science in Food Science from the Technological Institute of Tepic, with his research areas covering metabolic modeling, bioprocesses, microbial fermentation, and food engineering; currently, he works at the aforementioned government agency, where he is responsible for coordinating and facilitating government science and technology initiatives across various fields of knowledge including the agri-food sector, as well as fostering connections between the government, academia, and industry.
