The disciplinary system of shiology is structured with reference to the framework of the Catalogue of Disciplines and Specialties for Graduate Education issued by China’s Ministry of Education, covering nine disciplinary categories. Specifically, Shiance-related first-level disciplines are established within seven categories — Agriculture,Economics, Education, History, Engineering, Medicine, and Management. Within the categories of Law and Natural science, shiance-related second-level disciplines are established under four existing first-level disciplines — Law, Ecology, Biology, and Chemistry.
