About SDGs
In Sep. 2015, the UN Summit on Sustainable Development released Transforming our world: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in which 17 sustainable development goals(SDGs) and 169 sub-goals were put forward. The 17 SDGs includes various aspects that are no poverty; zero hunger; good health and well-being; quality education; clean water and sanitation; gender equality; clean water and sanitation; affordable and clean energy; decent work and economic growth; industry, innovation and infrastructure; reduced inequality; sustainable cities and communities; responsible consumption and production; climate action; life below water; life on land; peace, justice and strong institutions; partnerships for the goals etc. It actually sets the target for the global development by 2030.
